Initiative: Environment

ADIT aims to achieve the conservation of local ecosystems (coastal areas, forests, mangroves), and the preservation of biodiversity, ADIT works on environmental education and awareness (workshops, awareness campaigns) and promotes the sustainable management of natural resources while applying and teaching strategies for the responsible use of water, energy and proper waste management.
Environmental restoration and rehabilitation: tree planting and mangrove restoration.
All of these are joint efforts of ADIT and other local organizations such as Salvemonos, The Clean Wave, ASADA de Tamarindo, as well as the different government institutions related to the subject, such as the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Environment and Energy, the Municipality, Public Universities, among others.
